What is a LLEN?

LLENs play a central role in implementing the Victorian Government's post compulsory education and training reform agenda .

LLEN will facilitate partnerships and broker initiatives between education and training providers, other local service providers, local communities, industry and other LLENs.

What can a LLEN do for me?

For young people, LLENs are mainly "quiet achievers". They mostly work behind the scenes to help groups in the community to work together and find better ways to help young people with education, employment and training opportunities. So they help you without you even knowing it.

Membership

Membership of a Local Learning and Employment Network is drawn from any individual or organisation with an interest in post compulsory education, training and employment within the area covered by that LLEN.

Consulting with LLEN about new and developing initiatives is a way of ensuring the education, training and employment needs of young people in the local community have been considered adequately.
