Introduction
Introducing the Lower Hume VET Cluster
The Lower Hume VET Cluster includes schools from Whittlesea to Euroa and from Alexandra to Seymour a total of 10 schools which has been in operation informally for several years, offering opportunities for schools to collaborate and share information throughout the region.
In 2024 in consultation with schools the Department of Education developed and funded the role of VET Cluster Coordinators to support the regions and ensure all students have access to the core offering of VDSS, including options with the most appropriate provider supported by the Central Ranges LLEN.
The Lower Hume Cluster is a partnership between all secondary education providers in the Lower Hume region. With a strong focus on collaboration, support and sharing of resources and knowledge.
Cluster members meet once per term to discuss challenges and wins and to ensure a community of best practice to support our students in establishing their pathways to employment and further education.
